Stand tall and straight. A good posture can do wonders for your self-esteem. Posture can be worked on in a number of ways, but if you’ve developed a bad posture, you need to make a conscious effort to correct it.

Tip 2:

Increase your walking speed. People who walk with confidence walk a little faster than the rest. Their eye lines are up, and shoulders don’t sag. Their arms are relaxed and swing naturally and they step confidently. A brisk walk makes you look like you mean business and have something to do.

Tip 3:

When meeting someone for the first time, stand up and shake hands firmly. A good firm handshake shows that you are a confident person and you mean business. There is nothing worse than a handshake or a death grip on the other end of the scale.

Tip 4:

Make eye contact. Low self-confidence people hate eye contact. Make sure you look the other person in the eye when you address them.

Tip 5:

Improve your mindset. Learn to listen to your inner voice, and try to block out those negative thoughts. Talk to yourself, and reassure yourself that you can do better. Believe in yourself, and you’ll be well on your way to true happiness. Tell yourself that there is no word that can’t. Replace the word can’t with can.

Tip 6:

Set those goals and actively start working on them to make your dreams a reality. It will be a huge confidence booster if you achieve your goals.
