If you know anything about NLP, you know what an “anchor” is.

This is mostly attributed to Pavlov, that Russian guy. He was doing some experiments, and inadvertently discovered that when he rang a bell while giving his dogs their dinner, they would salivate.

He was originally researching the content of dog saliva, but accidentally discovered the connection between bells and reactions.

(Incidentally, it’s quite interesting how many inventions and discoveries were really made by accident.)

He started ringing his bell without feeding his dogs, and noticed that they would still salivate.

Like I said, if you’ve heard of NLP, you’ve heard this story.

You elicit some “feeling” in someone, “anchor” that with a touch or a certain gesture, and now you’ve got an “anchor” you can fire at any time.

At least in theory.

This works great in seminars, when everyone is playing together, but in the “real world” it’s not so easy, especially in pick up type situations.

It needs a great deal, otherwise there’s going to be a lot of noise in the system.

The good news is that there are many, many subtle ways to get the same effect.

Instead of following the pretty useless tricks taught in seminars where you tell the other person to “feel really good!” And then touch them on the shoulder when they “feel really good,” you just put everything on the bottom.

As I’m sure you know, the easiest way to convince someone to do something is to convince them that it was their idea.

How do you do that with the pretty girl you’re talking to?

Easy!

All you need to do is talk to her and express all the things that make her feel good. If you do it secretly, it literally works like magic.

Talk to him about his ideal future, his favorite hobbies, the things he’s passionate about, anything that fires him up.

The more you talk about these things, the more naturally she will associate them with you.

Instead of trying to “impress” her or “show off” or use some lame “playful and funny” or “push pull” crap, just talk to her about things that naturally arouse her emotions.

And as he looks at you, hears your voice, looks into your eyes, he will subconsciously associate those feelings with you.

And just like Pavlov’s dogs started salivating whenever he heard the bell, he will naturally start thinking about those wonderful feelings whenever he thinks about you.
