It was because of this day’s movement that we demonstrated our protest against the then rulers of Pakistan and suffice it to say that February 21, symbolized the fiery interpretation of our righteousness for which our survival as a Bengali nation is pointed across the world. On this day, some of the youth of our country volunteered to build resistance against the conspiracies of our mother tongue. They raised the movement by degrees and being controversial, the rulers of the day marched among them and shot them dead in due course. It is a group where our heroes laid down their lives for the eminent exile of our mother tongue. There has never been such an unprecedented movement across the globe.
